Buenos Aires, January 17 — A 55-year-old man, who was a fugitive and wanted by the Federal Justice of Rosario in a drug trafficking case, was arrested in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Barracas by the City Police. According to the police report accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the operation was carried out near Amancio Alcorta avenue at 2900, in the 21-24 Zavaleta neighborhood area, following investigation tasks ordered by the Federal Court of Trial No. 3 of Rosario, led by Judge Eugenio Martínez Ferrero. The suspect was captured in a public place by officers from the Division of Community Investigations 4 and was intensely sought for his alleged involvement with an organization dedicated to the drug trade. The case is related to the drug gang known as "The Boss of the North", a criminal structure made up of Colombian and Peruvian nationals, accused of supplying and distributing high-purity cocaine, whose production was identified with the symbol of a dolphin.
